Why Private Lessons?

RVAC offers flexible private lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels!

Whether you are brand-new to swimming or hoping to brush-up on existing skills, private lessons offer flexible, focused and individualized instruction that meets each swimmers unique needs.

Lesson Prices

PRIVATE LESSONS

$40 per 30-minute lesson. Maximum of 1 participant per lesson.

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

$50 per 30-minute lesson. 2 - 3 swimmers may participate in the lesson, but all swimmers must have a similar skill level.
Please note: Parties interested in semi-private lessons must enroll all swimmers. RVAC does not facilitate matching individual participants.

  • Some students need to overcome significant fear before learning to swim is a possibility. Private lessons offer a chance to focus on acclimation in a very personalized manner. For many swimmers, once this fear is overcome, group classes become an option.

  • Our private lessons can help novice adult swimmers looking to build comfort and basic water skills with an instructor. These lessons provide a supportive setting to help you learn swim basics and become comfortable in the water.

  • RVAC can accommodate students with disabilities wanting a personal experience with an instructor to fit their skills and abilities.

Join Waitlist

Our instructors are currently full and not accepting new swimmers. We will contact swimmers on our waitlist as openings occur.

We ask swimmers to provide us with their preferred lesson times to match with an instructor with similar availability. An instructor will work with the swimmer or a parent/guardian to schedule individual lessons. Private lessons are generally unavailable during group swim lessons or group classes as listed on the pool schedule.
